Tracy Feith Hired at TOMS Shoes

Anybody remember Tracy Feith? You know, the designer who dropped off the face of the earth back in 2010? Yeah, him. Well, shoe world, we’ve got good news for you: Tracy Feith is back on the scene after signing with TOMS shoes. ShoesTV has the scoop.

Tracy Feith was a big designer but fell out of favor when in 2010 he disappeared from the scene.
The designer has been on the down low since 2010 when he mysteriously left the fashion scene despite his rather successful Target collaboration and an awesome endorsement from the First Lady herself, Michelle Obama back in 2009. But according to multiple sources, Feith has been consulting with TOMS shoes founder Blake Mycoskie for months now and has recently been hired as a full-time designer for the popular shoe brand.
We don’t know the real reason Feith disappeared, but the rumors have been swirling around for years. Apparently Feith himself and his company suffered lots of debt--like hundreds of thousands of dollars worth. Well Tracy, we’re glad you cut your losses when you did and were able to work out your financial troubles.

Will Feith's TOMS designs reflect the classic TOMS? Or will they be completely different?
Will Feith be designing a clothing line for the philanthropic shoe company? Not anytime soon, apparently. Feith has been hired to work on a new line for TOMS called Toms+, a higher-priced line than regular TOMS.
The designs for this new line have yet to be released, but we will definitely have the inside scoop as soon as they do! We’re excited to see what Tracy Feith has in store for TOMS, what do you guys think?
