Pregnant Snooki Finally Falls in High Heels

It finally happened--Snooki fell in her high heels! The pregnant reality star was caught on film on Thursday falling to the ground in a pair of platform sandals. ShoesTV has the scoop on Snooki’s latest tumble.

We hate to say we told you so, but we kind of already did. We’ve been keeping a close eye on Snooki and her pregnancy and we’ve already reported on the dangers of wearing ultra high heels while pregnant. The internet has been buzzing about her shoes for months--wondering when she would finally give up and slip into some of her pickle flip-flops. Snooki: That time has come.

At Seven months pregnant, Snooki is still wearing high heels. On Thursday, she finally fell in a pair of leopard platform sandals.

The irony of the situation? Snooki told "Good Morning America" earlier this month that she wouldn’t fall in high heels. "I feel confident in them, and I know I'm not going to fall, so until it feels very uncomfortable, I'm still going to rock them," she said.

Some internet fans have been urging the 4’9 MTV star to trade in her heels for something more…practical. We understand that Snooki is legally considered a midget, but we still don’t think it’s safe for her (or the baby) to be wearing such high shoes. She has sworn off alcohol and clubbing, maybe it's time to turn in the heels as well.

If Snooki is afraid of sacrificing style while she’s pregnant, she doesn’t need to be scared. There are plenty of great shoes for moms-to-be that don’t include sky high heels. Might we even suggest a pair of flats from her favorite designer Jeffrey Campbell? They’re even studded like the pair of Lita’s she couldn’t take through the airport in April!

Perhaps Snooki should trade in the heels for the time being and step into something more like these Jeffrey Campbell flats.
