Snooki Announces Baby Slipper Line

Pregnant "Jersey Shore" reality star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has just signed her first baby-related endorsement. Snookie announced an extension to her slipper line in the form of baby slippers. The baby slippers are launching this fall, right around her due date. ShoesTV has the scoop.

The baby slippers are an extension of Snooki's slipper line with Happy Feet. “I had never seen Jersey Shore or heard of her, but my sons kept telling me how she was wearing [my Happy Feet brand] slippers on the show," Happy Feet founder Pat Yates told Forbes. "Once I saw it and she started receiving so much attention, I realized that [Happy Feet and Snooki] were going to be linked. I wanted to see if we could have the ability to control the buzz [by entering a deal with Snooki]."
Control it they have. The Happy Feet website has crashed two times after Snooki plugged it on twitter and when she appeared on the Home Shopping Network, the entire collection sold out in less than an hour.
Snooki's adult line of slippers launched in April of last year and include 12 designs. There will be up to six new designs in the fall. While her team is keeping the baby designs hush-hush, they did let loose that one design will be a smaller version of the best-selling brown leopard print slipper.

Snooki has turned her brand into an empire. In addition to a lucrative slipper deal, she also sells her own sunglasses, perfume, indoor tanning lotions, and handbags. Snooki is fist pumping all the way to the bank.
