Sneak of the Week: SNS x Milkcrate Athletics x NB M577

This Spring is all about vibrant colors. We haven't seen this much neon since the 80s and we love what designers are bringing to the party. This week’s Sneak of the Week is the wild-looking SNS x Milkcrate Athletics x New Balance M577. ShoesTV has the scoop.

This is the fifth collaboration for Stockholm-based Sneakersnstuff (SNS) and New Balance. The Swedes take a particular liking to the classic New Balance 577.

"577 is our favorite NB, hands down," Sneakersnstuff co-founder Peter Jansson said in an interview with Sneakersnstuff.com. "Such a lovely and comfortable runner."

SNS decided to partner up with Aaron LaCrate of New York-based Milkcrate Athletics. LaCrate, whose company has outfitted hip-hop greats like Eminem and the RZA, came up with the bold colorway.

Bold colors make the 577 pop. Bam! Pow!

"Milkcrate is known for its fearless stance on color--neons and pastels," LaCrate explains. "It's all about having the color or color combo that no one else has."

For those wanting a more toned-down spring, go gray. Kazam! However, given that neon is so popular right now--we suggest you go bold or go home.

Stockholm and Malmö Sneakerheads can stop by one of the SNS locations to pick up a pair. For U.S. fans, there are no brick-and-mortar locations to purchase the shoes. However, don't hop a flight to Sweden just yet. They are available online at SNS.
