Sneak of the Week: Nike Lebron 9 Low "Floridians"

In spite of our Lakers fandom, we're turning the Sneak of the Week spotlight on the Nike LeBron 9 Low "Floridians." While it pains us to promote a LeBron James shoe the same week the Nike Zoom VII "Poison Dart Frog" Lakers releases, we cannot resist the bold colorway. In fact, we're guessing even disgruntled Cleveland fans will buy these bad boys. ShoesTV has the scoop on this week's seductive sneak, set to hit stores Saturday.

You can pair these shoes with either pink or orange laces. Personally, we like the pink.
BacIn 2010, James infuriated Cavalier fans when he left the Cleveland team to join the Miami Heat. At the time, James was conflicted, saying, "I never wanted to leave Cleveland, and my heart will always be around that area...but I feel like it's time to change." His heart may be returning home because in February, the internet exploded with rumors that James wants to return to the Cavaliers.

At least your opponents will have something pretty to look at when you soar over them for that epic dunk!
Whatever loyalty James may feel for his first team and home state, his shoe line has fully embraced Miami spirit and style. The vivid orange/cherry colorway pays homage to a NBA throwback jersey that honored the Floridians, Miami's disbanded ABA team. James, along with his teammates, wore the jersey to five games earlier this year.

Lebron wore the throwback jersey five times this season.
Nostalgia aside, we love the look of this color combo. The neon orange with hot pink lining is a great look for spring and summer--particularly given the neon trend this season. These sneaks will make a bold statement on the court, while bringing some of the Miami beachside brightness indoors.
Now that we've got you drooling, you're probably wondering how to get your hands on this week's sneak. The shoes will be available in Nike Stores Saturday and for $150. If you're impatient and willing to pay more, there are some pairs for sale on ebay, as the shoes already released in Asia.
