Sneakerheads, if you're looking for a new shoe to add to your collection, we’ve found the sneaker for you! Notorious shoe customizer and artist, Methamphibian, has returned to team up with The Hundreds. ShoesTV has the details on the new collab that we picked as our Sneak of the Week.

L.A.--based artist, Methamphibian, is known for his art and shoe customizations.
The Los Angeles--based artist and “original king of sneaker customization," Methamphibian, has teamed up with some pretty big names in the past including DC shoes, Nike, and Converse. In 2008, he even did some artwork for the rock band Linkin Park. After some time off the scene, he’s back and working with The Hundred’s to redesign their “Hoya” silhouette.
The shoes have been redesigned with a black, white and silver colorway that embodies 80s and 90s sneaker styles. "The approach I took was to modernize the [The Hundreds Hoya] shoe while keeping its distinct retro feel intact by combining the use of contrasting construction materials, with a familiar 'methamphibian style' colorway”. Methamphibian told The Hundreds. He wanted to keep as true to the style as possible while still making a modern shoe. We think he succeeded, what do you think?

Methamphibian and The Hudreds teamed up for a limited edition pair of "Hoya" sneakers.
The limited edition collaboration drops on Wednesday June 27, 2012 on The Hundreds online shop as well as at Livestock in Toronto and Vancouver, 5Pointz in Bristol, FreshCotton in Amsterdam, and Caliroots in Stockholm. There are only 100 pairs being released worldwide, though, so if you want a pair, you better act fast!
