Reptile Skin, Is In!

There's a new trend slithering through town...reptile skins! Snakes, crocodiles, and alligators have been popping up in all of the hottest designers' collections, who are making this scaly trend sexy with hot silhouettes and sky-high heels.
All you California fashionistas may have a hard time finding genuine python skins, since they're totally illegal in California. But, don't fret! There are plenty of faux skin styles that are equally sexy. Here are a few hot shoe styles we're loving in this new trend!
If you're looking to really turn heads, grab a pair of the popular Jeffrey Campbell Litas in ivory python. The 5-inch heel will give you the height of a super model, and the 2.25-inch platform will keep you quite comfy.

Matiko's more casual look will definitely cause onlookers to stop and take note. The Lee Flat features a black faux reptile skin that peeps out under sexy studs!

We always love a great pair of wedges because you can dress them up or down. The appropiately named Wicked-S by Steve Madden mixes it up in the animal kingdom by putting a leopard print on a snakeskin shoe.

If you really want to splurge, you can always count on Christian Louboutin. Their Bianca Alligator Pump is only sold on Bergdorf Goodman's website and will run you a cool $5, 495! The red alligator pumps match the signature Louboutin red bottoms, and are sure to stop traffic.
