Current Collection: Casadei

Happy Sunday, everyone! The time has come to finish up your weekend shopping trips, and ShoesTV is here to help. This weekend, we're shining our Current Collection spotlight on Casadei's beautiful spring 2012 collection.
"We obviously start off by talking about pythons, a material that in my opinion contaminates the entire 2012 collection," Casadei Creative Director Cesare Casadei said. "We [also] have a strong presence of flourescent colors."
Both snakeskin textures and neon colors have been fixtures this spring, and Casadei incorporates both trends flawlessly. We couldn't narrow it down to our top four shoes, so we settled for five. Here they are, in no particular order!
#1 Cutout Platform Sandal
We love the cutout platform and neon green that has such a presence throughout the collection, and couldn't resist showing you the best example.

#2 Python-Print Wrap Wooden Sandal
The greatest thing about this shoe, hand down, is that it's a wrap sandal. The python print looks like a snake is coiled around your foot and ankle--ready to strike.
#3 Python-Embossed Platform Pump
Ssssssssss....again with the python! We like how the wild texture is paired with an otherwise classic red pump. Wear these to the office, and expect many envious glares.
#4 Crisscross Patent Leather Cork Sandal (neon pink)
One of our favorite trends this season is pairing natural cork with wild colors. This sandal is a great example. Just glance at this sandal, and you start to picture barbecues on the beach.
