Last week ShoesTV brought you an article about Jessica Simpson’s Evangel shoe and how the design looks eerily similar to Christian Louboutin's Staratata, released a couple of years ago. The famous shoe designer is now accusing Jessica Simpson of copyright infringement. No formal suit has been filed yet, but we’re sure it’s on its way after Louboutin sued Yves Saint Laurent in April of 2011.

Jessica Simpson's Evangel shoes look a little too much like a previous Christian Louboutin design from a few years ago. The Jessica Simpson version comes in three different colors and sell for $98.00 on her website.

The Christian Louboutin version, named Staratata, was released in 2010 and sold for $995.00. We don't know about you, but the resemblence is pretty stunning.
Also, in response to the seemingly endless amount of fake Louboutin’s circulating around the world, the designer has launched a new website called Stop Fake – Christian Louboutin. Louboutin's goal is to bring awareness to consumers about the counterfeiting of Louboutin shoes. Right on the homepage, the site states: “We have adopted a 'zero tolerance' policy and have put in place a comprehensive program to deal not only with the sites offering fake Christian Louboutin products, but the sources thereof, the distribution systems, the auction sites and other avenues of trade in the fake products.”
The website also offers links straight into the Louboutin online boutique and a timeline of events that highlight the efforts to stop the counterfeiting of the designers famous shoes.
