Terry de Havilland is a rock star among shoe designers. The biggest names in music fell in love with his shoes in the 70s. He partied with the guys from Led Zeppelin and designed the shoes they rocked out in. Highly sought after water color artist Mark Schwartz is debuting his High Heeled Art Collection at the Pool Tradeshow in Las Vegas this August. He is creating a line of women's handbags and t-shirts based on his popular water color shoe paintings. Schwartz has impressive pedigree--Andy Warhol was his teacher and he has designed shoes for Christian LaCroix, Gucci, and Bergdorf Goodman. Oprah Winfrey has even commissioned custom shoes from him. The duo revamped a 1970s Converse running shoe and unveiled the Missonied-out Auckland Racer sneaks on the Missoni runway in Milan last week.
